Addressing Feedback and Enhancing Quality: Our Commitment to Excellence

At Numed, our dedication to maintaining the highest standards in medical device servicing is unwavering. We’ve highlighted the significance of our ISO 9001:2015 certification and how it guarantees reliable medical device servicing, ensuring consistency and quality that directly impacts patient care. Today, we want to share how Numed is continually improving our processes in response to recent feedback from an ISO surveillance audit.

During a recent ISO surveillance audit, Numed received a minor finding: there was no process identified for communicating our quality policy to interested parties. While our commitment to quality has always been strong, this feedback highlighted an area where we could improve our transparency and communication.

Numed is excited to announce that we are working on launching a new website later this year, where our Quality Policy will be available for all interested parties. This initiative addresses the minor finding from our recent ISO surveillance audit and enhances our commitment to transparency and quality.

In addition to improving how Numed communicates the quality policy, we have also embraced a significant shift in our operational approach: moving from a project-based mindset to a process-oriented framework. This transition has been crucial in driving consistent quality and efficiency across all our services.

Why Processes Matter

A process-based approach focuses on continuous improvement and systematic workflows rather than isolated, individual projects. This method ensures that every task we undertake is part of a larger, cohesive strategy aimed at maintaining and enhancing quality. By standardizing Numed’s processes, we can deliver consistent, reliable service that meets the stringent requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and exceeds our customers' expectations.

This shift has had a profound impact on the quality of our services. By emphasizing processes over projects, Numed has achieved greater consistency in our service delivery, minimized downtime for radiology equipment, and improved overall operational efficiency. This approach aligns perfectly with the principles of ISO 9001:2015, which emphasize continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

At Numed, our ISO 9001:2015 certification is not just a requirement but a commitment to excellence. The recent audit feedback and our subsequent actions underscore our dedication to continuous improvement. Numed is not just addressing the minor finding from the audit but is using it as an opportunity to enhance our overall quality management system.

As Numed prepares to launch our new website and fully integrate our quality policy into our communications, we are confident that these steps will further solidify our reputation for reliability and excellence in medical device servicing. Our commitment to quality, consistency, and patient care remains at the forefront of everything we do.
